ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and manage the Breach Reporting framework in compliance with regulatory mandates.
- Lead the Breach Committee in collaboration with Legal, determining significant breaches.
- Report compliance incidents and breaches to relevant committees and stakeholders.
- Provide compliance education and awareness to embed compliance management across the organization.
- Offer compliance advisory services as needed, contributing to cross-skilling initiatives.
- Development and management of the Breach Reporting framework, ensuring it delivers to the regulatory requirements of mandatory breach reporting (supported by Legal)
- Leadership and facilitation of the Breach Committee, with Legal, including the determination of significant breaches
- Reporting of compliance incidents and breaches to the Breach Committee, Executive Committee and the Board Risk Committee
- Providing compliance education and awareness for the Group, supporting an embedment of compliance management across the GroupProvision of compliance advisory services for all elements of the compliance obligations register, where required as part of cross-skilling
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years insurance operations experience, with compliance/legal experience coupled with a relevant tertiary education.
- Experience in the general Insurance industry is highly regarded.
- Experience with risk management systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Preferred).
- Compliance, Legal, Risk or Audit qualifications and memberships to relevant professional bodies highly regarded.
- Leadership and engagement skills, with the ability to manage SME experts the A&G way.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.Ability to build effective relationships with senior managers and other key stakeholders.
