Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE :

As a Compliance Manager, you will be the main point of contact for external compliance and legal suppliers and be the go-between for the heycar team and the experts, helping to make sure what’s delivered matches our high-challenge and fast-paced culture whilst making sure we’re compliant. You will get to exercise your advanced legal, governance, and risk skills to bring a radical change to innovate the industry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Be the subject matter expert for compliance matters
  • Maintain and support heycar’s enterprise risk and compliance framework
  • Maintain compliance monitoring across the company
  • Managing the compliance associate and setting clear objectives.
  • Be the key point of liaison between external legal and compliance advisors
  • Seek to maintain compliant culture, whilst supporting an agile working environment, in a fast paced business.
  • Prepare and support documentation and policies in line with FCA guidelines, act as the key liaison with 3rd parties where heycar has Authorised Representative status
  • Provide guidance and expert advice to less experienced team members and help to train others to construct good conduct within the business
  • Identify changes in regulations and support changes into the wider business
  • Build strong relationships with data, product, engineering, commercial and marketing to deliver successfully and a positive support and challenge
