Job Title: HSE Compliance Manager (fixed term)
Reporting Line: Group Head CRE Risk and Compliance
Global Risk and Compliance is leading the development of Flutter’s global framework and standards. The role is a hands-on role to help drive risk management initiatives specific to the business and ensure global compliance with Group policies and standards. The role will provide HSE advice and guidance, acting as subject matter expert for this area.
As an advocate of risk and compliance for Flutter, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage exciting regional and global projects that help enable statutory and industry compliance. Working with teams across the region and globe, you’ll need excellent stakeholder management, organisational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Risk and Compliance team in the strategic design, development and implementation of Global policies and procedures
- Work with relevant stakeholders to develop and plan the integration of newer businesses to the Flutter way of working
- Develop and own plans to monitor the ongoing compliance with Flutter Group HSE policies and standards
- Develop relationships with functional leaders and key stakeholders across regional and global operations, corporate workspace and Group Risk Management
- Work with senior stakeholders in the Flutter organisation to promote, change, and deploy new tools and strategies
- Participate in site visits of both Retail and Corporate Real Estate to provide support in areas of risk management/assessment, accident management, fire safety and other aspects of statutory compliance.
- Support the team in rigorous setting, scoring, and tracking of key goals and objectives
- Design appropriate metrics, tools, and methods to track and sustain improvements
- Improve overall company compliance performance by using a data-driven approach for issue identification, root cause analysis, and improvement rollouts
