Description:

Job Purpose: Starting in 2017 Emirates Flight Training Academy has grown and now has a felet of 22 x Cirrus single engine aircraft, 3 x DA42 and 5 x Phenom VLJs. We currently have 290 cadets on course and expect to grow this number to 400+ by 2026.
Compliance Monitoring Auditor is responsible for assisting with the implementation and improvement of all compliance and/or quality assurance programmes in order to evaluate and report the status of compliance with regulatory authority requirements. This includes the participation in, and accomplishment of, all functions that are typically understood to be part of a compliance/quality assurance system.

Maintenance Department Specific Accountabilities:

  • Assist with the issuance, renewal and amendment of regulatory authority licences. Support the assessment of applicants for departmental approvals in accordance with department authorisation system(s). Ensure records of such authorisations are maintained and that expiry/renewal dates are accurately tracked to ensure continued validity.
  • Support the investigation of technical, safety or hazard incident reports related to the maintenance department

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Ensure assigned compliance or quality system audits are carried out in accordance with the approved audit schedule and procedures. Audit accomplishment will include use of compliance database system software to support definition of findings, reporting, acceptance of auditor responses, verification and closure of each audit.
  • Support external audits conducted by regulatory authorities or other third parties. Ensure that any findings are accurately recorded and controlled within the compliance database system to ensure that systematic, comprehensive and timely responses are provided.
  • Provide regular and independent periodic reports and feedback to senior management personnel with on organisation performance with regard to audit activities, implementation of corrective and preventative measures, and audit closure. Prepare reports for scheduled departmental and organisation Management Evaluation Review meetings.
  • Review and circulate published and updated regulatory authority publications, or any other information required to be reviewed and considered by department managers.
  • Develop and deliver appropriate training to organisation personnel and/or students, including compliance system training, department manuals and procedures training, and continuation training.
  • Support the review, approval and distribution of manuals, forms, procedures, processes and other controlled documentation as per departmental practices. Assist in obtaining regulatory authority approval if required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST MEET THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
  • Flight Operations.Other: 5+ Years
  • Experience in Airline/MRO/ATO/Aircraft, Airline MRO/Flight Operations, Quality Assurance/Documentation and Records Management Systems. Safety (SMS),
  • International Auditing Qualification. Compliance and/or Quality Auditing experience.
  • Compliance/Safety software literate.
  • Documentation and/or Compliance (Quality) Management training preferred.
  • Preferably trained on GCAA/EASA regulations.
