What you’ll be doing:

The Compliance Monitoring Lead plays a vital role in overseeing and managing the monitoring activities to ensure that a company’s operations adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies

  • Assist the Head of Compliance Monitoring to draft and implement a risk based Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive compliance monitoring program to identify and assess areas of non-compliance
  • Develop and maintain a risk-based monitoring plan that prioritises key compliance areas
  • Undertake compliance monitoring reviews of People’s Partnership’s pension and insurance products to ensure they are being operated in accordance with the applicable law, regulation and best practice.
  • Identify improvements to compliance monitoring based on emerging risks, regulatory changes or common issues

What we’re looking for:

  • Has a recognised Compliance qualification (i.e. CII)
  • At least 5 years in a pensions or financial services organisation working in a compliance role
  • Proven experience of managing and leading a compliance monitoring team
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements of the FCA, PRA and TPR
  • A good level of understanding of GDPR regulations, knowledge of Anti Money Laundering rules.
