We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background and a minimum of four years experience in compliance or similar roles within the financial sector. While prior experience in blockchain and crypto is not required, a willingness to learn and adapt in this rapidly evolving field is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in Law.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in compliance or similar functions within the financial sector.
- Deep understanding of AML/CTF regulatory environment.
- Fluency in English and Swedish.
- Proven experience in drafting policies and other complex documents.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to independently lead projects and delegate tasks.
- A curious mindset with a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with AML/CTF regulations and other relevant legal frameworks.
- Lead and manage compliance projects, including delegating tasks and providing guidance to team members.
- Draft, review, and update complex documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments, providing actionable insights to mitigate risks.
- Stay abreast of changes in the regulatory environment and ensure the company’s practices remain compliant.
- Foster a culture of compliance awareness and behavior within the organization.
