SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Appropriate qualifications and or experience
  • Thorough knowledge of VRQA Standards SNR 2015 and their application
  • Knowledge of VET funding contract reporting requirements (VIC)
  • Databases – Intermediate skills in LMS and SMS systems
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessments (TAE40110 / 40116) - preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the RTO Manager, this 20 hour per week position is responsible for coordinating the compliance calendar; overseeing state funding internal audits; and ensuring policies, procedures and associated documents are kept up to date. Working closely with both the RTO Manager/Student Engagement Coordinator and training teams to ensure all regulatory and funding contract requirements are met.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regulatory Adherence: Monitor and interpret relevant education and training VET regulations, standards, funding contract requirements and guidelines to ensure Brite’s compliance accordingly.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, policies, and procedures to support Brite’s compliance efforts.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to continually improve educational VET offerings and administrative practices.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Participate in regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement, preparing comprehensive reports for management and external authorities.
  • Student Records Oversight: Manage student records with strict confidentiality, accuracy, and in line with data protection regulations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners to provide guidance, address inquiries, and ensure alignment with compliance objectives.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to enhance staff awareness and understanding of regulations and protocols.
