Description:
Position: Transport Compliance & Safety Manager
Contract Type: 12 month fixed-term contract to cover secondment
Location: Ryton on Dunsmore
Shift: 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
To be the key point for the DHL eCommerce Network with all transport compliance and safety measures. Within this the ability to talk communicate with key stakeholders and senior managers to improve the business‘ compliance
- Manage Network compliance and safety;
- Follow through with any vehicles showing as overdue on operations report,
- Create and send out monthly FLT report to senior management,
- Create and send out to management Transport For London monthly report, vehicle split distance report, OCRS monthly report, tachometer infringement report, tachomaster compliance dashboard report, weekly origami report, weekly lytx report, incorrect manual entries report, vehicle download report, monthly VOR dashboard,
- Maintain compliance dashboard for all vehicles including core/ hire and tractor/ rigid/ trailers/ vans; including sending out reminders and chasing anything overdue and outstanding paperwork. This looks at; MOT, MOT brake tests, tax, tachograph calibration, loler and weight test,
- Maintain and send out fleet list including details on current/ new vehicles, hires and remove when de-fleeted/ de-hired, send out to other departments including insurance management,
- Developing monthly board and the regional reports and the supporting data,
- Updating safety/ compliance/ driver documents, information/ guides, spreadsheets, processes held on connect,
- Complete and submit road surveys to traffic commissioner,
- Involvement with police matters,
- Involvement with complaints of drivers investigations,
- Assist sites with any questions/ queries they have,
- Run internal transport audits
- Assist with network transport audits
- Manage the Network sites and keep key stakeholder informed of performance
