Description:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of relevant working experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Detail oriented, organized and strong analytical & reporting skills
- Advanced database and spreadsheet skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, proficient verbal and written communication skills
- A contracts and audit background is desirable
- Knowledge of Fisher pricing methodology and data structures is helpful
- Self-motivated, higher level of flexibility and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI)
- Exhibit leadership, initiative, and the Thermo Fisher Scientific 4-I values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement

Responsibilities:
- Fulfill customer requirements for routine and special-request pricing audits. Researches pricing discrepancies (perceived or otherwise); supports salesperson in communicating audit results to customer
- Continually audits pricing systems to ensure customer price agreements are properly executed. This includes supplier rebate agreements as well as customer pricing in the HC & Research pricing systems. Special focus is given to price agreements requiring system workarounds
- Learn and understand the late rebate process and provide support as needed
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis to support management decisions including variance analysis, as well as in root cause data interpretation
- Provide business partnering and commercial finance support to senior leadership
- Participate in projects and initiatives to drive process improvements
