If you are enthusiastic about responsible supplier management, more sustainable consumer products and driven by data to guide and support solution proposals and decisions within a sustainability area in rapid development - then you could be the person we are looking for, as our next Compliance and Sustainability Specialist.
You will play a key and impactful role in JYSKs environmental sustainability journey. In this position, the focus will be on purchased goods and services – the majority of JYSKs emissions. Primary tasks include calculating and reducing our products CO2 emissions and assessing and improving the environmental impact of the supply chain.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:
- Has a sincere interest in the green transition and possesses updated knowledge within the area of sustainability
- Either sits in a similar job today or can be a recent graduate from relevant background with a focus on sustainability or data analysis
- Works structured and analytically and has strong skills in Excel, so you can break down substantial amounts of data and highlight the most important trends
- Has a good understanding or interest in the product life cycle, CO2 footprint and environmental impact
- Can make things happen and at the same time, you manage to set the direction based on JYSK’s policies and get your colleagues on the journey
- It could be a plus if you have had experience from a production
Your primary workplace is at the Head Office in Aarhus, and you should expect approx. 20 travel days per. year.

Responsibilities:
- Support suppliers and buyers in sourcing more responsible materials and products based on data and knowledge, so that we always work towards a more sustainable range
- Work to map and reduce the products and suppliers CO2 footprint in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, as well as water, waste, and other environmental impacts with a focus on the product’s overall life cycle
- Collect and structure valuable sustainability related data on a large and complex supply chain, with the target of improving our impac
