Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE ROLE
Take on a new challenge and apply your component expertise in a new cutting-edge field and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.
You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of high-quality components for use in our equipment. Day-to-day, you’ll will also play a key role in developing and implementing component obsolescence management strategies to ensure the continued availability of key components for our products.
We’ll look to you for:
- Support introduction of new component by assessing the solution on the market, considering all the criteria of component selection (quality, longevity, cost, multisource, reliability, design for manufacturing)
- Support obsolescence management by searching and evaluating equivalence of alternative parts
- Support preventive obsolescence management by periodically evaluating the impact of future obsolescence.
- Support manufacturing, repair
- Perform survey of component market in liaise with sourcing.
- Maintaining data and keeping track of the component in Product Life Management system

- Degree in electronic engineering or relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of all electronic component technologies, including active, passive, and discrete components as well as Connectors, cables and fasteners.
- Good knowledge of the electronic market, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Familiarity with component obsolescence management strategies
- Knowledge of using Product Life Cycle system or experience with a similar system
- Detail-oriented, proactive, flexible, and self-driven skill
