SUMMARY

The Composition Software Engineer Level IV will have experience creating, testing, and maintaining several high complexity document composition solutions and will work closely with other Software Engineers, Business Systems Analysts, and Client Services to satisfy business and customer requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience in Composition technical applications like (Quadient) Inspire, designer, interactive or scaler. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Deep working knowledge of Quadient tools, applications and ONESuite software solutions.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as required by projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to share ideas and work well in small teams.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Independent and self-motivated

OFFICE / SEDENTARY REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with other Software Engineers to apply deep technical skills to create, enhance and maintain Quadient-based applications and solutions.
  • Lead small teams in the delivery of Quadient-based solutions.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers
  • Identify areas for programming improvements and implement changes as needed
  • Consult with clients and teammates on streamlining use and development of templates.
  • Support and meet company/department goals and core values.
  • Collaborate with co-workers to achieve common goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
