A great developmental opportunity has become available for a full-time afternoon/evening Dispatch Coordinator. You will be responsible for managing the dispatch process, co-ordinating the packing and dispatch teams, ensuring the final product is labelled and packaged correctly and organising a courier to ensure the product meets the required deadlines for both Pharmacy and Nutrition products.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Good communication and people skills
  • Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills
  • Ability to solve problems in a timely manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adhere to policy and procedures
  • Responsible attitude to work demonstrated by a good work attendance, punctuality and reliability
  • Desire to learn and ability to cope with change
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a tea

Responsibilities:

  • Full oversight of the packing/dispatch area for both Pharmacy and Nutrition
  • Correctly picks finished good
  • Labelling and Packing
  • Performs accurate label reconciliation
  • Correctly dispatches goods according to relevant transport methods
  • Co-ordinates transport using relevant transport methods
  • Can communicate and resolve transport issues (as required)
  • Demonstrates use of required software for booking and tracking of deliveries (IFS, Transvirtual, Direct Couriers)
  • Identify Continuous Improvement ideas within Packing/dispatch areas
  • Production duties as required
  • Other duties as required including: Pick/Prep/Stores & Label
  • Present any packing/dispatch process changes to the wider team (as required)
  • Take Lead in packing/dispatch area and escalate when required
