As the Computational Design lead in Transport, you will take a lead on all matters relating to computational design in the Transport market and supporting the IDT in our Elevate our digital capabilities objective. This will include:

  • Working together with the Head of Automation & Digital Development in building and developing structures, capabilities, and resources & capacity to empower computational design in the Transport market.
  • Supporting an emboldened community of computational designers in Transport by proactively engaging with the wider community and establish a network of connected colleagues in this space, including setting up and running computational lead meet ups as well as interfacing with the various computational design clusters that already exist in the Transport market.
  • Leading on Transport’s engagement with internal version of StackOverflow to share knowledge in this space as well as promoting and encouraging its’ use.
  • Driving and supporting hackathons undertaken with Transport clients and in line with our strategy and opportunity spaces
  • Support solution sharing and open contribution to computational design efforts in the market including promoting internal / external open-source projects for contribution in line with any Ramboll open-source policies.
  • Establish effective communication cascade on Computational Design within Transport
  • Interface and coordinate with the other Computational Design leads and representatives in other markets. Develop and enhance the already existing community of computational designers in line with the Community Canvas for computational designers.
  • Contribute to specific computational design items as well as other initiatives on the Transport Innovation and Automation portfolio.
  • Set up reverse mentoring with senior stakeholders about computational design within the Transport market and monitor the progress and outputs.
  • Identify, plan and run global training and upskilling on computational design in the Transport marke

Responsibilities:

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Previous experience with computational design in the Civil Engineering industr
