Description:
The Concessions Regional Operations Manager is responsible for managing day to day operations and communication requirements with concession partners and act as internal point person for all areas of business as it relates to the partners in their region.
The ROM is responsible for the execution of the sales & operational plan for their region and coordinates the supply chain operations required to keep their stores in-stock, appropriately serviced, and manage the field labour budget for their respective region.
The role is to support, implement and execute initiatives which will support sales growth, minimise costs and increase EBITDA, within existing partnerships through operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities of the role
- Leads the operations function for their region, are responsible for all matters involving the concession partners in their region. These responsibilities include: answer customer inquiries, address and resolve service concerns, provide performance recaps and recommendations.
- Serve as the link of communication between internal teams and customers. Each Regional Operation Manager will have additional duties as the subject matter expert for specific partners. They will standardize operational support across all partner stores and ensure standard operating procedures are followed.
- Develop strong partner relationships, build rapport and ensure understanding of customer’s core business needs within their region.
- Focuses on operational excellence, products being in-stock, services being routinely executed, and the labour budget adhered to.
- Coordinates the internal teams of Merchandising, Planning, Account Management, and the Supply Chain to ensure timely replenishment of sold goods, as well as launches of new stores, categories or products into the partner stores in their region.
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities with existing customers, execute the New Store Opening plans, controlling costs and driving cost efficiencies. Leveraging data to inform the account management teams to best manage the customer relationship and improve both sales and profitability performance of the partners stores in their region.
- Analyse performance & execution, deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively manage labour budget for accountable partners, gain full understanding of cost to sales % and continually review mechanics to drive additional cost savings
- Use field reporting tools to monitor our concessions service application, providing feedback and recommendations to relevant teams.
Help to document and communicate new partner set up requirements, specific procedures, i.e. IT, invoicing, opening and service structure. Support with the successful on-boarding of all new partnerships for trial periods. Execute new store and roll out programs, working closely with the wider concession team.Operate with a cost conscious mindset.
