Role Summary
As a Concierge, you play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Reporting to the Property Manager, you will be responsible for greeting, assisting, and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of everyone entering the property. Your excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle various tasks will contribute to the overall success and reputation of the property.
Shifts: Weekdays (5pm-9pm) & Weekends (10am-2pm).
Key Accountabilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all residents, guests, and visitors to the property.
- Display a professional demeanor and provide a friendly atmosphere.
- Conduct access control to ensure the security and safety of the property.
- Answer phone calls in a professional manner.
- Receive and manage packages as required.
- Perform interior and exterior patrols, including parking lots, stairwells, hallways, and common areas as needed.
- Answer all resident questions promptly and accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service to meet residents’ needs.
- Coordinate with onsite contractors as required.
- Assist in marketing the property by coordinating guests’, tenants’, and visitors’ needs.
- Display a warm and professional greeting to all entering the property.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests and their status.
- Respond promptly and accurately to resident inquiries.
- Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities.
- Maintain a file of services including transportation sources, accommodations, and referral contacts.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Property Manager and the property management team.
- Follow security and emergency procedures, responding to emergency situations efficiently and calmly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Strong knowledge of the surrounding area and all recreational, hospitality, and business-related information.
- Customer Service experience is an asset
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs etc.)
- Yardi experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Availability to work afternoon/evening shifts.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional customer service orientation.
- Detail-oriented; ability to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning and common sense
