Concrete Finishing Superintendent

Our client a highly respected developer of residential communities has an impressive opportunity for a Finishing Superintendent with their construction team throughout the Lower Mainland. To be successful in this position the following skills sets, and experience are required: Exceptional attention to detail, advanced knowledge of concrete high-rise construction, supervisory skills, and the ability to be adaptable in changing conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE:

5+ years as a Finishing Superintendent with experience in concrete high-rise, multi-family and/or
mixed-use projects.
Ability to effectively manage time, responsibilities, and priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including MS Project
Salary: $130,000 – this amount could be increased based on experience
Vacation: 2 week

Provide supervision and direction to all on-site personnel.
Plan and implement schedules with the site superintendent.
Implement and enforce quality control standards.
Ensure that the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety and WCB are enforced.
Oversee the completion of all finishing-related tasks.
Ensure all certificates and final inspections have been obtained.
Lead daily/weekly meetings and participate in project team meetings.
