Description:

AmTrust is a global insurance provider offering risk-management solutions and business underwriting tailored to the unique needs of each client. AmTrust International underwrites over $2.5bn of gross written premiums and employs more than 1500 people in 14 countries.
We have a brand new opportunity and are now looking for a Conduct Risk officer to join our team based in either London, Nottingham or Dublin.
In this key role you will focus on driving the development and approach to internal regulatory controls and conduct risk, building good working partnerships with our underwriting teams in this adviser and challenger role.

Essential role functions include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the implementation and embedding of the Conduct Risk Framework
  • Advising and supporting the business functions on, oversight of risk controls and performance metrics, applicable regulatory conduct requirements & supporting business activities through compliance advice & expertise
  • Reviewing Policy documentation, training materials, websites, or other material for conduct risk
  • Ensure Consumer Duty principles are met across the business.

Successful candidates should have a good working knowledge of conduct risk as well as knowledge of consumer duty, either via direct experience or experience withing complaints or compliance and a background within Insurance or the wider financial services sector.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail skills as well as knowledge of MS office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, comfortable working to both scheduled and last minute deadlines, work autonomously, confident in your ability, thrive working in a collaborative business, support colleagues in the wider team and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
