Connected Vehicle System Engineer

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Triage issues and support downstream team: conformance testers, system testers, service testers, field deployments, etc.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams and partners including D&R engineers, system engineering, Cloud operation.
• Support addressing issues /concerns related to functional safety requirements (FuSa)
• Lead collaboration with different teams, to ensure total feature performance is covered, and validation/integration gaps are eliminated.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experience leading a team and driving forward ideas from concepts to practical projects. Experienced with modern software development methods and Agile development techniques. Ability to systematically resolve issues.
• Experience with software engineering best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
• Familiarity with ISO standards 13429, 14229, 26262 and 13400. - FMEA/FMA Training/Certification - Understanding of common microcontrollers and embedded architectures and peripherals -
• 1+ years of experience in integration of AUTOSAR modules like MCAL, BSW, COM, RTE, SWCs

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of system level design.
• 5+ years of experience in CAN communication and CAN tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer.
• 3 +years of experience with vehicle software updates (OTA, Service, Manufacturing. etc).
• 2 + years of Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
