Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Confer with Leadership team within Quebec and HR Business Partner for Dana Hospitality and Talent Acquisition Specialist, IFM, to understand personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
  • Post internal and external job postings utilizing Smart Recruiters and other internal processes as appropriate Utilize local professional organizations and other position appropriate venues when required.
  • Actively recruit for all front-line positions, review and evaluate applicant qualifications according to established guidelines, set up and conduct interviews, and complete reference checks.
  • Provide information on company, facilities, job opportunities and realistic job previews to potential applicants as necessary.
  • Provide selected candidates with conditional offer of employment (verbal and written), confirm employment and schedule orientation.
  • Prepare and compile administrative documents required before the scheduled orientation.
  • Deliver new employee orientation as required based on business requirements.
  • Work with HR Service Centre to ensure new employee orientation.
  • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition/branding.
  • Provide generalist support to the District Manager and General Manager within Quebec and the HRBP Advisor, Dana Hospitality.
  • Provide other types of administrative support for Quebec leadership group.
  • Coordinate other employee actions (ie: terminations, etc) in accordance with Dexterra processes and policies as well as local legislation.
  • Other duties as required
