Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Confer with Leadership team within Quebec and HR Business Partner for Dana Hospitality and Talent Acquisition Specialist, IFM, to understand personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
- Post internal and external job postings utilizing Smart Recruiters and other internal processes as appropriate Utilize local professional organizations and other position appropriate venues when required.
- Actively recruit for all front-line positions, review and evaluate applicant qualifications according to established guidelines, set up and conduct interviews, and complete reference checks.
- Provide information on company, facilities, job opportunities and realistic job previews to potential applicants as necessary.
- Provide selected candidates with conditional offer of employment (verbal and written), confirm employment and schedule orientation.
- Prepare and compile administrative documents required before the scheduled orientation.
- Deliver new employee orientation as required based on business requirements.
- Work with HR Service Centre to ensure new employee orientation.
- Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition/branding.
- Provide generalist support to the District Manager and General Manager within Quebec and the HRBP Advisor, Dana Hospitality.
- Provide other types of administrative support for Quebec leadership group.
- Coordinate other employee actions (ie: terminations, etc) in accordance with Dexterra processes and policies as well as local legislation.
- Other duties as required
