Description:

Our client specializes in Engineering Design & Consultancy Services in the Energy Management & Clean Energy System. They are looking for experience candidates for the role of Construction and Project Manager - Solar Projects

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in construction and project management, particularly within the renewable energy sector.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of successfully navigating complex project challenges.
  • Extensive network of vendors and suppliers within the renewable energy industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of solar project construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Mentor and lead a team of project engineers, providing guidance and support throughout project lifecycles.
  • Interface directly with clients to understand project requirements, address concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Oversee procurement activities, sourcing materials and services while optimizing costs.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Identify and resolve project-related challenges in real-time, employing innovative problem-solving techniques.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management.
