Description:
The Associate Construction Support Engineer II exercises sound engineering judgment in evaluating, organizing, and executing assignments of basic level. This position provides construction support requiring the application of standard techniques and procedures in performing assigned tasks and typically works on projects of small sized scope. This position possesses practical knowledge and experience for applying functional support for construction proposals and projects.
- Apply education and technical knowledge to larger and more complex construction scope activities
- Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
- Other duties as assigned
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and two (2) years of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to, coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to speak/read multiple languages
- Basic understanding of construction operations and support functions
- Ability to collaborate and adapt to changing conditions
- Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations
