  Join Vertical Scope Group (VSG) as we are now inviting expressions of interest for Expert, Trusted and Reputable Professionals at all levels of knowledge and experience from Defence Support Services (DSS) Levels 1-5 (Associate, Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, Expert, Pre-eminent Advisor) to join our submission for a multi-year, Specialist Security Services panel.
  We want high performing, highly experienced professionals that have backgrounds in Engineering, SCEC, Acoustic, Building and Specialist Security, that can work across the board to implement the next phase of Australia’s innovative solutions for Defence and National Security.
  Vertical Scope Group are securing experienced Construction Engineers and Architects to join our award-winning Professional Services Division to be included in our submission. If successful, and if you are listed as a named consultant in our submission, VSG will always offer you first choice and opportunity of any work that is released to us.

As a Construction Engineer or Architect (Construction security services) are likely to include:

• advice on technical security for construction sites,
• access to designated areas of a worksite,
• building construction and building services for physical and technical security purposes,
• direct supervision and observation of personnel in designated areas of a worksite,
• after-hours surveillance of a work site,
• on construction security issues with the Commonwealth and a construction supervisor,
• impact assessment and modelling, including:
• structural plans and other information pertaining to buildings to ascertain effects of blast impact,
• resistance modelling using domestic or internationally recognised software,
• and provide recommendations to improve blast resilience of a building structure and façade based on blast modelling, and
• and recommendations for design blast mitigation such as faced hardening,
• security advice, design services and reports as required, and
• related domestic and international construction security services.
