    Our client, a reputable and expanding Ground Engineering contractor specializing in design and construction services including piling, grouting, earth retention, civil construction, and civil/geotechnical engineering, is in search of a committed Concrete Pump Operator with a minimum of 1-2 years of practical experience. As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled Construction & Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Construction & Logistics Coordinator to oversee the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects while managing logistics operations effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, logistics, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in construction project coordination and logistics management.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to construction sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule construction activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Procure materials and equipment needed for construction projects, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely delivery to site.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage logistics operations to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with safety personnel to implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on construction sites.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize disruptions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify potential risks, and address any concerns proactively.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project status updates and communicate any changes or deviations from the original plan.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve construction processes, logistics operations, and overall project efficiency.
