We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our client to oversee the implementation of a Battery storage system project in Collie on an 8/6 roster. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with specialized knowledge in renewable energy projects and multidisciplinary coordination. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a groundbreaking project.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in construction management, with a focus on renewable energy projects preferred
- Strong understanding of battery storage systems and associated technologies
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Construction/Project Management roles
- Trade Qualifications in Electrical and | or Civil Construction
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the construction activities for the Battery storage system project,ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to optimize project delivery and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies as needed
