Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Site Representative to join our team in our St. John’s office.
We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 5 years experience conducting field services for a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm; with primary focus on civil, or municipal engineering projects such as land development, municipal servicing, and road construction.
The successful candidate will complete field measurements and track quantities, as well as document daily progress and work activities. It is anticipated that this role will commence with the 2024 construction season.
YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS:
- Excellent ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications and ensure conformance during construction;
- Possess a positive attitude towards safety and have the ability to monitor general compliance of safety on construction sites;
- Willingness to travel;
- Willingness to carry out on-site representation duties for extended periods of time;
- Willingness to work typical hours for construction;
- Working ability with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Ability to effectively communicate; and
- Hold a valid Newfoundland and Labrador driver’s license.
