ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to safety, leadership, integrity and innovation. Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the ESI in a management role such as Site Manager, Foreman, Supervisor, or Leading Hand
  • Experience leading a team of Lineworkers, particularly in Live Line Glove & Barrier works
  • Possess relevant trade qualifications either an Electrical Fitter Mechanic or Distribution Linesman/Jointer
  • Switching Qualifications; UEPOPS116 Operate local H.V. switchgear & UEPOPS117 Operate local L.V. switchgear
  • Drivers Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, and Standards relevant to the Western Australia
  • Ability to build a strong team and invest in their growth
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

In our newly created Construction & Switching Manager role, your contributions will have a direct impact on our success. You will be responsible for directing and leading construction activities related distribution powerline projects, ensuring compliance to contractual agreements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct HV & LV Switching to facilitate safe access to the network
  • Development & submission of eNAR for planned works
  • Managing Crew Leaders to uphold the highest standards of safety and performance
  • Management of all delivery resources ensuring appropriate tooling, plant and material levels
  • Provide technical guidance, advice and mentoring to field workers
  • Achieve budgeted margin on projects
  • Manage operation activities including scheduling, training
