Description:

We are looking for Construction Worker for our Scarborough location. Shift: Monday -Friday 7am-3.30pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of construction experience, or a proven track record in a related field.
  • Experience with forming work, layout, and tying rebar.
  • Familiarity with concrete pouring, leveling, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to install vinyl and ceramic flooring materials.
  • Experience replacing windows and doors, working with both metal and wood.
  • Knowledge of block and brickwork repair methods.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Must be reliable and available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various construction projects including new office buildings and renovations.
  • Participate in forming work, layout, and tying rebar for concrete structures.
  • Assist with pouring concrete, ensuring proper leveling and finishing.
  • Install vinyl and ceramic flooring materials.
  • Replace windows and doors, working with both metal and wood frames.
  • Perform repairs to block and brickwork.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures as outlined on the job site.
  • Take direction from supervisors and work collaboratively with other team members.
  • May be required to work on weekends and holidays to meet project deadlines.
