Description:
As an acute medical consultant, you will work on the Emergency Floor; both our Acute wards and SDEC. Clinical responsibilities will be the consultant review of new medical admissions, supervision of junior medical staff working on the floor and the consultant supervision of medical SDEC. You will lead multidisciplinary board rounds and be a senior point of contact for on-day issues, In your SPA time, alongside time needed for activities needed for revalidation and appraisal, there will be the opportunity to explore other areas of interest, taking on additional responsibilities both within acute medicine and the wider trust
