Consultant Anaesthetist (Perioperative Med/Vascular Anaesthesia)

The post holder will be involved in the education of junior doctors, medical students and other clinical staff within theatres. William Harvey welcomes a cohort of novice anaesthetists each year, requiring expert guidance and tuition. Other educational roles will be supported and educational qualifications are desirable. There will be an opportunity to join the Simulation faculty team offering courses across the trust and the Prompt training team, supporting multidisciplinary training in Obstetrics.
There is also a potential opportunity to become involved in the surgical preassessment service, chronic pain service and other multidisciplinary meetings for a variety of surgical specialties
