Description:

WHAT THE DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

We are looking for candidates to join our team and enhance our General Insurance Tyche Capital Model (‘TCM’). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in meeting the expectations of our clients working in sub-teams who are delivering high quality cutting-edge solutions and projects.
This role will encompass a wide variety of work. Initially the successful applicant can expect to be involved with the following:
-

Model development.

  • Working with the team and clients to gather business requirements, designing and implementing capital modelling solutions for the (re)insurance market.
  • Client delivery support.
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary team to design, implement, and test capital modelling solutions for (re)insurers
  • Preparation of data and parameters for modelling purposes
  • Supporting and training users of our systems
  • Sales Support.
  • Supporting the sales process through proof of concept exercises and trials for Tyche and TCM

We are keen to get all of the team involved with client interactions from sales through to delivery.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS

  • General insurance experience in at least one of capital modelling, pricing or reserving (3+ years’ experience)
  • Experience at coding and developing modelling solutions
  • Exemplifies analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A person who is interested in using software to solve modelling challenges, and may have in the past pro-actively looked to improve processes in their own work/team
  • A strong, self-motivated team player that works collaboratively
  • Good communicator with the ability to adapt to suit different audiences, and good at building relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills to effectively prioritise and execute tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure: proactive, shows resolve and adapts quickly to evolving situations
