What you’ll be doing

As the Consultant of Digital Consent and Privacy on our Digital Analytics & Integration team, you will play a pivotal technical Digital Product role in ensuring our bank’s digital assets maintain the highest standards of data privacy and consent to Federal and Provincial Laws and Bills. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Digital Privacy and Consent : Overseeing the bank’s adherence to data privacy and consent regulations and best practices across digital properties, including Bill 64, GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant legislation. Implementing, maintaining and monitoring technical solutions and platforms to meet the rigorous data privacy practices and ongoing governance for all trackable technologies including cookies, pixels, etc.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and enhance ongoing partnerships with enterprise programs, Privacy, Legal, Risk management and Technical teams to manage ongoing changes while overseeing the joint day-to-day implementation, maintenance and monitoring processes, investigations, etc.
  • Team Building: Build with the team of analysts and consultants, providing deliverables, and taking on learning and growth opportunities. Fostering a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
  • Tools, Technology & Vendors: Working alongside the Enterprise teams to support solutions for ongoing privacy and consent requirements fostering a Privacy by Default culture across all existing journeys and processes. Staying updated on industry trends and innovations, and own ongoing relationships with vendors and partners on related digital privacy solution matters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying ongoing opportunities for platform improvements and optimization in addressing Digital Privacy and Client Consent requirements, ongoing monitoring and controls, joint gating processes, etc. Anticipate upcoming regulatory changes and develop action plans to help the organization proactively adapt to these changes and stay current.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience in:
  • Consent Management Platform (e.g. OneTrust), Client Preference Centre for Marketing and Services, Agile Project Management, Digital and Marketing platforms and technologies, Financial Industry and/or Wealth knowledge. Bill 64 (Law 25), Bill 96, GDPR, CCPA, AdChoices, and other relevant Privacy requirements. Working knowledge of: Tracking Technologies, Cookies, Pixels, etc.
  • Experience leading and formalizing appropriate KPIs and a measurement strategy for standardization, implementation and reporting.
  • Knowledge in tag management and JavaScript coding and debugging. Experience with designing Digital Analytics solutions for Singe Page Application Frameworks and Mobile App would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with automated QA and testing of tagging and validation techniques, and exposure to tools such as ObservePoint.
  • Leading the communication of actionable insights and trends through Adobe or Google Analytics reports and dashboards.
  • Lead and manage the set up of self-serve platforms and processes for various stakeholders to access data and insights.
  • Developing a standardized reporting approach using templates, Google Data Studio, etc. based on standardized metrics and implementation.
  • Integrating data from various backend data sources, such as CRMs, to build a complete omni-channel customer journey and extrapolating insights, trends and anomalies.
  • Experience in Google or Adobe Launch Tag Manager, Google Analytics, DMP integrations, personalization integrations, Adobe or Google SDKs, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Marketing Platform, and Google Analytics integrations, SPA frameworks, native and hybrid mobile apps.
