One of the main tasks of our FRR1.4.1 team “IFRS Group Systems” is the maintenance and further development of SAP FPSL (Financial Products Subledger under S / 4 HANA Finance ), the core system in our Munich Re Group´s IFRS 17 global system landscape. The key objective is to ensure the system-related requirements for the preparation and reporting of financial statements for the technical business under IFRS 17 “Insurance Contracts” at the individual company level as input for the MR Group´s IFRS 17 financial statements as well as for IFRS 17 as local GAAP.
We are part of the department “IFRS 17 Group Coordination” which is responsible for the coordination of overarching IFRS 17 topics for the whole MR Group. Here also lies the IFRS 17 Global Product Owner role as coordination and governance instance for the central IFRS 17 system landscape.
We are looking for a Consultant in “IFRS17 Group Systems” to support us with the maintenance and further development of our SAP FPSL system with regard to IFRS17 Accounting topics.

• Support in system preparation, pre-closing activities and implementation of IFRS 17 Actual Closing, simulation and forecast & planning
• Support with the specification of new (regulatory) requirements for FPSL in close cooperation with the so-called delegates of the segments and the request providers, for example within FRR or from the segments
• Support with or implementation of the requirements for FPSL and coordination of tests of the implementation by the requestor or the so-called delegates of the segments
• Processing or support of technical and procedural questions on FPSL and system interfaces (ECON validations, global templates, notes)
• Contact person for queries from the segments or MR units, in particular support with data processing in FPSL for the respective reporting events
• Contact person for reporting in interaction with relevant interface / target systems (EDWH, ERGO-Hub, ERGO-specific pre-systems)
• Support in operating a group-wide 2nd level help desk for SAP FPSL
• Maintenance and further development of FPSL systems based on SAP S4 HANA Finance including cooperation in the implementation of system upgrades / SAP releases
• Setting of account determination and maintenance / setting of the most current chart of accounts
• Participation in projects for the maintenance and further development of the central systems
• Participation in the development, organization and implementation of FPSL system / process training courses for the various user groups
