Hanover is looking for an ambitious and driven Consultant (Account Manager equivalent) to join the fast-growing Digital team.
Please note we are open to this role sitting within either our London (HQ) office or our Middle East offices (Dubai and Riyadh) and so we are keen to hear from applicants based in any of these locations. Please see the ‘responsibilities and requirements’ section below for more information.

As a Consultant you will provide high-quality services for client accounts across a wide variety of sectors including healthcare, food & drink, financial services, sports, manufacturing, government & public sector, and technology. You’ll be fluent in the latest digital trends, have strong knowledge and practical experience of digital campaigns and execution, be skilled in managing projects and teams, and have a solid understanding of new business.
Experience and understanding of the scope and context of integrated communications is key, as you will actively contribute to digital integration for existing projects across the Hanover Group, as well as identify and promote digital and content opportunities across our key target sectors and work with colleagues across the Group to bring in new opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience within a digital role is essential, preferably within an agency environment or alternatively within an in-house digital/comms team
  • An understanding of project and account management, proven experience developing client relationships and providing high quality service
  • In-depth understanding of digital and social media channels, tools and analytics
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to draft high quality proposals, copy, reporting and strategy documents and other marketing materials
  • Curiosity, initiative and a proactive approach to delivery of tasks and supporting fellow team members
  • Role supporting the senior team in understanding of finances, budgeting and account servicing
  • Awareness of the communications and current affairs landscape, clients’ markets, audiences and stakeholders
  • Very strong team-working, collaboration and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and relevant strategic and tactical advice to clients on developing reactive and proactive digital strategies to drive towards client goals
  • Stay up to date on industry innovation, platform updates and best practice
  • Plan concepts for and oversee delivery of digital and social content, managing junior colleagues
  • Draft and review high quality digital and social content and creative concepts
  • Launch and manage social campaigns including evaluation and reporting
  • Display ability for upselling and cross-selling both on current clients and others in the business
  • Contribute creatively towards new business pitches and support on brainstorms with the wider team
  • Influencer mapping and recommendations / working with other teams
  • Maintain and lead on regular client contact including attending and leading client meetings
  • Provide project management services and be the first point of contact for client accounts
  • Develop an understanding and effective delivery of budgeting for client work and new business proposals
