Applications are invited for a Consultant post in Breast Medical Oncology at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust and contribute to the delivery of outstanding care to our patients.
The posts comprise 8 PA for direct clinical care and 2 for supporting professional activity (SPA), please see job description and sample job plan for the post attached.
The key aim of this post will be to support the Breast Unit working with the existing Consultant team to deliver a high-quality clinical service to patients with breast cancers.
The post holder will make a major contribution to the Unit’s programs of research as well as support for current and future clinical trials in this area.
The post holder will be employed by The Royal Marsden Hospital. The job planning process will be carried out in partnership with the employer and employee. The post holder will report to the Clinical Lead for the Breast Unit and be managed within the Division of Cancer Services. The post holder will participate in the consultant on call rota which is approximately 1 in 30.
