The key duties and responsibilities are: General responsibilities including participation in Consultant on call rota Specialist Clinics Outpatient clinics Teaching Other care of inpatients or outpatients Clinical and other administration as required by agreement Teaching and training of junior staff and undergraduates Participation in Clinical Governance The job plan is expected to consist of 10 Programmed Activities (PAs), 8.5 clinical Pas and 1.5 core SPAs. The exact details of job plan will be agreed with the successful candidate after their appointment. Full clinic will be expected to have equivalent of 12 follow up patients.(possibly 2n and 8 follow up or 3 and Six follow ups) the new to follow up ratio will depend on the needs of the department. The appointee will be expected to undertakein Consultant on Call rota which covers referrals from the wards and GP calls between 9am-5pm.
There are no evening or weekend on call commitments
