Description:
Share in the provision of Nuclear Medicine and general radiology to the Trust. The successfully candidate will be encouraged to develop a subspecialist interest according to their own interests and expertise. Take responsibility for the nuclear medicine service as an ARSAC license holder, developing the service with the clinical team. Supply general radiology according to a negotiated job plan.
Timetabled commitments of the appointed candidate will cover both Hartlepool and North Tees sites, as do all newly appointed radiologists. The appointee will be expected to share the aspirations of the other radiologists to provide a wide ranging, high quality imaging service to patients within the Trust. General Radiology Duties: To provide a high quality reporting service for Nuclear Medicine, general CT, MRI and plain film examinations. PET-CT, SPECT-CT and other radionuclide imaging reporting and administrative duties to support the service.
Participation in MDT where appropriate. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute the Radiology Out of Hours service and the provision of emergency radiology during normal working hours.
