THE UNIT WORKS WITH A LARGE MULTI-SPECIALTY OBSTETRIC MEDICINE TEAM AND MFM TEAM LOOKING AFTER 7000+ WOMEN PER ANNUM. WE ARE HAPPY TO SUPPORT APPLICANTS WHO WISH TO FURTHER DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS IN MATERNAL MEDICINE / OBSTETRIC MEDICINE / MFM.

TE WHIWHINGA MAHI | THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Working across Middlemore Hospital and the Manukau Super Clinic in South Auckland, we are currently seeking applications for Consultant Obstetrician positions to join our Women’s Health Service.
  • We are looking for applicants who have a predominant Obstetric interest who wish to join and work in the busiest maternity unit in New Zealand with diverse multi-ethnic and areas of high need population. The unit works with a large multi-specialty Obstetric medicine team and MFM team looking after 7000+ women per annum. We are happy to support applicants who wish to further develop their skills in Maternal medicine / obstetric medicine / MFM.
  • The unit is accredited as a RANZCOG training site which adds to the enjoyment of working here with trainees across the continuum of their training.
  • With a growing population base and a commitment to research, innovation and quality, Counties Manukau District has many attractive opportunities. As the ideal candidate:
You should be either registered or be eligible for vocational registration within the scope of General Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZMC or the ability to be awarded one.
