Consultant Ophthalmologist (interest in Glaucoma)

We invite applications for the role o f Consultant Ophthalmologist with special interest in glaucoma. This position is crucial for advancing our glaucoma service, and the successful candidate will collaborate with the Glaucoma Team.
The post entails 10 Programmed Activities (PAS), encompassing outpatient clinics, laser and day case sessions. These activities are aligned with departmental needs to deal with the glaucoma backlog for new and follow-up patients, including patient-related administrative and SPA (Supporting Professional Activities) responsibilities.
Teaching and training junior doctors and medical students, participating in audit activities, and supporting the acute referral service as required.
