Description:
The post is offered at 10 PA but under the terms of the 2003 Consultant Contract, candidates who wish to conduct private practice would be required to offer an additional programmed activity. The Job Plan is based on 10 PAs which includes 8 PAs for Direct Clinical Care and 2 PAs for Supporting Professional Activities. 8 PAs for DCC include hot weeks in paediatrics and neonatal care, on call commitments, out-patient clinics, clinical administration and patient / relative / carer communication. On call commitment: 1 in 10 on call for weekdays and weekends
