Mercy Mental Health & Wellbeing Services (MMHWS) a provider of Public Adult Mental Health Services for the southwest metropolitan area in Melbourne is seeking experienced Consultant Psychiatrist AOD Services. All enquiries welcome and stat date negotiable. Relocation assistance within Australia is available.

  • An exciting leadership role in the newly form MMHWS Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Services;
  • Provide primary, secondary consultations, education, training, and capacity building of the newly formed AOD Team.
  • Collaborate with Hamilton Centre and other AOD Services in Victoria.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the MMHWS AOD team, including supervision of nurse practitioner, clinicians and junior medical staff.
  • Opportunity for involvement in the training of Registrars in the RANZCP fellowship program.
  • Provide teaching to Medical Students from the University of Notre Dame.
  • Option of part time sessional employment up to 0.4 FTE (hours negotiable) depending on your individual professional development goals
