Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Consultant, Supply Chain Cost Accountant is a key member of Financial Services, Global CPS Supply Chain Variances & FG team within FP&A and plays an important support role in the management of concentrate and beverage base revenue, volume, and cost information in compliance with relevant controls across multiple company codes.
The Consultant, Supply Chain Cost Accountant has responsibility for ongoing product cost controlling, pricing, accounting, and analytical activities for assigned CPS plant locations. The role will play an active role in transformation and standardization efforts, ensuring global standards and consistency of information output in collaboration with various teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting or related disciplines
  • Qualified or part qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive related work experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP and integrated manufacturing systems preferred.
  • Develop and leverage Platform Services network and relationships with stakeholders to enhance customer experience.
  • Transformational, growth mindset to embrace change, seek clients’ feedback and drive continuous improvements to processes and tools.
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills with fluency in English (written and spoken) to generate new solutions and embrace new ideas

WHAT YOU’LL DO FOR US

  • Responsible for the preparation, release and maintenance of product standard costs, and related master data on SAP for new product launches or reformulations of assigned CPS plant locations and communicate to plants and Operating Units (OUs) on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Manage Costing run processes and outputs to support Annual Region Standard & Business Plan processes and also monthly Rolling Estimates for assigned CPS plant locations.
  • Support the build-out of new Supply Models from a Costing & Pricing perspective.
  • Perform re-costing of materials in SAP from lowest levels from Bill of Material (BOM) changes to kits, analyze calculated cost impact to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide daily direction and work output approvals to third-party Managed Service Provider (MSP) performing CPS pricing and accounting activities, ensuring compliance to established internal controls.
  • Serve as escalation point for the resolution of costing and pricing related problems or issues that require broader perspective to drive the right solutions.
  • Perform independent peer-audit review on cost maintenance activities and approve pricing system updates performed by MSP.
  • Promote global standards and best practices on costing and price maintenance activities to ensure consistency of output and improved user experience.
  • Act as the liaison and point of contact for OU and plant Finance, Customer Service, Planning and Product Portfolio teams on pricing, costing, supply, and sales processes.
  • Manage internal and external audit queries relating to costing, revenue, and volume reporting in collaboration with MSP.
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements on key costing and pricing areas within the team and across functions including the preparation of monthly metrics.
  • Lead discussions with stakeholders where needed to implement prioritized initiatives to realize said benefits.
  • Participate and serve as Finance subject-matter-expert on Global Supply Chain initiatives, including the Contour S4 Supply Chain Deployment, ensuring Finance requirements are considered.
