Consulting Department Director – DACH Region

ORGANIZATION

• Frequent coordination and reporting to CEO
• Day to day coordination and management with Delivery Leaders
• Regular alignment with other Delivery Leaders at international VESLOG entities
• Manage & coach future Leaders in preparation to assume Lead and Manager responsibility
• Regular Planning and Review Meetings with Senior Leadership Team incl. CEO

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field
• Experience in building and leading a team for a defined solution or business
• Ability to architecture the solution and provide guidance to the customer
• Ability to manage project budgeting
• Thought leader to extend the knowledge capability and sharing within the organization
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the of SAP Supply Chain Management.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of consultants.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the products and services offered by VESLOG.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Provide guidance to onsite and remotely working project resources

• Delivery Team Resource Management
• Manage assignment of resources to customer engagements and internal projects
• Develop and manage resource forecast and maintain staff plan
• Track team utilization
• Drive staff utilization and off-shore targets according to VESLOG’s practice model with teams leads and international delivery leads
• Work with CEO to optimize utilization and team assignments
• Manage 3rd party partner and subcontractor delivery resources

Successful end-to-end delivery execution of all regional projects

• Coordinate staffing plan during proposal phase
• Support deal closing process
• Coordinate contract closing phase – MSA / SOW, subcontract agreements
• Support team onboarding to projects incl. travel logistics and budgets
• Coordinate off-shore resource onboarding and integration
• Drive project mobilization and kick-off execution
• Consult as Lead Solutions Architect during project blueprint phases
• Team skill learning and development program support

• Target for own billable utilization: 40% – 60%

Sales related activities

• Work closely with Head of Sales and Marketing to drive new revenue via collaboration with SAP, partners and directly with customers
• Drive discovery sessions with customers
• Gather high-level requirements needed for estimation
• Create implementation proposals and estimates
• Maintain direct and active relationships with partners and SAP
• Display the highest personal integrity and ethics

• Build trust with customers and connect from early states of engagement
