Concentric Corporation is currently seeking a talented Consulting Engineer – Network & Systems for our client that is headquartered in Wisconsin with many locations across the state.
We are looking for a highly motivated Consulting Engineer – Network & Systems with a strong technical background and a sales-oriented mindset to support our sales team in Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network and systems engineering, with a proven ability to design and implement technical solutions for clients. This role will involve collaborating closely with sales representatives, engaging with clients to understand their needs, and delivering tailored technical solutions to meet their requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working for an MSP (Managed Service Provider) is required.
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and cloud), Active Directory, VMWare, Cisco (Route/Switch), and other networking technologies.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) are preferred.
• Experience with storage equipment such as NAS and SAN is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security solutions is preferred.

• Collaborate with sales representatives to support the sales cycle, from initial client meetings to solution implementation.
• Conduct client visits alongside sales reps to assess technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Design and architect technical solutions based on client needs, leveraging expertise in Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, Cisco, and other networking technologies.
• Implement and configure solutions in collaboration with the client and internal teams, ensuring successful deployment and integration.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges and optimize solution performance.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices, particularly in network security, and incorporate them into solution designs and implementations.
