We are currently seeking commercial technology, procurement and data privacy lawyers with the below expertise to join Peerpoint. If you are a highly skilled and self-driven lawyer with top tier technical experience in these areas, then we are keen to hear from you.

  • Commercial contracts including technology/IT agreements (e.g. software as service agreements, artificial intelligence, data/software licenses, software development agreements, client/vendor cloud computing arrangements)
  • Data protection and privacy
  • Cybersecurity law
  • M&A transactions
  • Technology transactions including IT procurement and outsourcing
  • Fintech, eCommerce and payments
  • Intellectual property (contentious and/or non-contentious) and patent

Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking commercial technology, procurement and data privacy lawyers with the below expertise to join Peerpoint. If you are a highly skilled and self-driven lawyer with top tier technical experience in these areas, then we are keen to hear from you.

  • Commercial contracts including technology/IT agreements (e.g. software as service agreements, artificial intelligence, data/software licenses, software development agreements, client/vendor cloud computing arrangements)
  • Data protection and privacy
  • Cybersecurity law
  • M&A transactions
  • Technology transactions including IT procurement and outsourcing
  • Fintech, eCommerce and payments
  • Intellectual property (contentious and/or non-contentious) and patents

Successful applicants will have:

  • A right to work and reside in Australia
  • Qualified to practice in Australia – unrestricted
  • A minimum of four years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within a top tier law firm and a leading financial institution or corporate (directly, or as a secondee)
  • Have a willingness to engage with Peerpoint as a casual employee or via an Independent Legal Practice
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in a common law jurisdiction is preferred
  • Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level whilst working as a consultant
  • Adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Client service-focused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment
  • Strong commercial/business acumen
  • Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible
  • Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy
