REQUIREMENTS:

  • Conduct a thorough audit of existing content, evaluating its accessibility, identifying outdated material, and determining areas where subject matter experts may need to be consulted.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies for creating, publishing, syndicating, governing, and measuring content, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Establish strategies to maintain consistent language across various touchpoints, including the creation of content style guides and adherence to language best practices.
  • Conduct research and competitor analysis to inform content structuring and provide recommendations for information architecture improvements.
  • Create detailed content outlines to guide the content creation process.
  • Edit and review content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and channel-specific best practices.
  • Ensure that content design is audience-driven, optimized for SEO and UX performance, and informed by data and analytics.
  • Work closely with UX designers and other digital team members to optimize content on university websites to meet user needs and support Marketing and Communications objectives.
  • Design and develop recommendations for information architecture and page content, including messaging hierarchies, content structure, and user interfaces for both new and existing websites.
  • Continuously iterate on content design based on user feedback and testing data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of leading content strategy in professional services, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, writing, editing, and evaluating website content for different audiences and channels, based on user behavior and objectives.
  • Experience and understanding of audience user-journeys, content writing, content design and mapping.
  • Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of SEO and website accessibility criteria.
  • Experience using CMS technology including Drupal, Wordpress, Cascade, and AEM is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
