Description:
CONTENT MANAGER
SumUp is a global Fintech player on a mission to support small merchants in building thriving businesses all over the world.
As a Content Manager, you’ll join our Global Content Team who create engaging and compelling content, ensuring that SumUp is the first choice for small businesses. In this position, you’ll be the person of contact and subject matter expert for various channels, such as CRM, Online Marketing and SEO content, being part of the centralised, self-serve or POS Lite value-aligned mission teams.
You’ll collaborate closely with Localisation Managers, Designers, and Growth Leads to ensure high-quality content production across EU GTM activities, boosting organisational effectiveness and long-term impact.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the primary content manager for all copy and content needs of a value stream aligned growth team, spanning all marketing channels (CRM, SEO, Retail, Online Marketing, Sales & Partnership, Website).
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop detailed content plans and strategies to support the growth of the value stream.
- Create fresh and compelling copy for multiple channels, including email, performance marketing, in-app, and the SumUp website, based on given KPIs.
- Conduct competitor research, monitor industry trends and identify new content needs.
- Monitor and report on content performance.
YOU’LL BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF
- You have excellent communication skills in English – proficiency in French, German or Italian is considered a plus.
- You have a proven track record of relevant experience in copywriting or communications, plus a related degree.
- You have an editor’s eye with the ability to craft engaging yet concise content.
- You have great analytical understanding and can make data-driven content decisions.
- You have excellent stakeholder and project management skills.
- UX writing and experience working with AI tools are considered a plus for this role.
