REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptional collaborative abilities and a positive attitude.

  • Substantial work experience in content management or a related field, including strong experience with at least one CMS.
  • Working knowledge/experience of HTML and web publishing.
  • Demonstrable experience of juggling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent skills across the MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work accurately at speed, prioritising overlapping, and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and PowerPoint.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Prior experience in the energy, financial, or government sectors.
  • Knowledge of and an interest in global politics, economics and/or business.
  • A qualification in marketing, publishing, journalism, or another relevant field(s).
  • Knowledge of and experience with SEO and web traffic metrics.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Content Manager to join our growing team and help to shape our rapidly evolving content strategies. You’ll report to the Head of Content and work closely with our design, marketing, and digital teams. Together, we ensure our digital platforms showcase our market-leading insights, data offering and thought leadership.
You’ll have strong experience of managing content, including HTML and web-publishing skills, and a flair for using imagery to tell a story. Experience of the energy and/or financial sectors is highly desirable, as is experience in data visualisation.

DUTIES

  • Ensure all digital content is accurate, current, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. copyright and data protection).
  • Implement content strategies serving our short and long-term commercial goals.
  • Collaborate across teams, helping to deliver our content style across our platforms.
  • Work with content writers to ensure all content is of high quality and is brand consistent.
  • Work with stakeholders to harness web metrics to improve the performance of our content.
  • Support the marketing team with generation of ideas to attract audience attention.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar to ensure content is published on time.
