Description:

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering consistent B2B content that furthers the Clarivate reputation as a thought leader in the intellectual property industry and enables the demand marketing team to successfully engage customers and prospects.
This position is highly collaborative, working globally in partnership with strategy, product management, sales, customer care, and the broader marketing organization, as well as directly with customers, partners and vendors. To be successful in this role, the Content Marketing Manager must be a critical thinker, naturally curious, an exceptionally strong writer and highly organized.
This role is for an experienced content marketing individual who is well-versed in influencing customer perceptions and behavior through storytelling and world-class content. Working under the Director of Industry Marketing, this role will deliver a variety of content to engage customers and prospects throughout the buyer journey.
The ideal candidate for this role has experience developing a variety of content from white papers and special reports to blogs and email campaigns. Responsibilities:

  • Planning: work with Sr Content Marketing Manager and Industry Marketing Director to build content marketing campaigns for the Intellectual Property industry in alignment with business goals.
  • Content Creation: own content development, including copywriting, editing and proofreading for industry reports, webinars, white papers, industry speaking engagements, case studies, blog posts and web pages. Manage external copywriters to expedite content creation.
  • Content Calendar: Develop and maintain the content calendar in coordination with Sr Content Marketing Manager and Industry Marketing Director. Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams (Strategy, Product, Sales, Product Marketing, Creative Services) for successful implementation.
  • Content Marketing: Engage customers and prospects throughout the buyer journey and influence customer perception and behavior. Seek out customer stories and differentiate our product brands.
