This Content Marketing Manager role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to join a lovely not-for-profit organisation that have seen a large growth in members in the past year. This is a newly created position so a great opportunity for someone who wants to come in and really make the role their own. The main responsibility of this role is to develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy for the organisation. Reporting to and collaborating with the Head of Marketing and working closely with their product and brand marketing teams to spearhead their content marketing initiatives.
The ideal person for the role would be someone who has had 5 years experience of working in a marketing department, ideally within a content team. You will have experience of executing marketing campaigns with a focus on digital marketing along with experience in budget management.
The main aim of the Content Marketing Manger is to spearhead the firms content marketing strategies and creation of engaging content which aligns to these strategies .
The salary on offer for this amazing role is £42,000-£46,000 dependant on experience. The company also offers a discretionary annual bonus on top of this and a great work life balance. This would be working one day a week from the office just outside of High Wycombe and 4 days from home.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER ROLE:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop strategies to improve the value proposition.
  • Effective management of the campaign schedule working closely across the organisation to manage priorities and maximise benefit.
  • Delivery of campaigns to support the growth and retention of the firms products and services in both B2B and B2C markets.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders and effectively manage campaign process including brand and design of key assets and collateral, mapping of customer engagement journeys and creation of website landing pages.
  • Align content to the various stages of a buyers’ journey, working with the Head of Marketing to develop an offering of a project tool or outreach programme.
  • Execute plans effectively to ensure they meet objectives and contribute to the overall organisational KPIs.
  • Production of post campaign analysis report to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Compile management information and reporting to share insight into campaign execution and inform future plans.
  • Lead, manage and motivate a high-performing team of product marketing professionals.
  • Budget management, and attribution of marketing performance to help the Head of Marketing set targets.
  • Use of relevant analytics to gain insight into their current audience to enable clear feedback and intelligence on the use of marketing channels to assist inform developments of the product.
  • Stay updated on the evolving needs, preferences, and aspirations of the target customers collaborating with UX Team and Business Intelligence Team.
  • Represent marketing on portfolio projects, at both steering and or project level, project dependant.

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER ROLE:

  • Educated to degree level.
  • 5 years’+ experience of working in a content marketing role, preferably within B2B and B2C.
  • Analytical and budget management experience with a commercial outlook.
  • Team leadership experience
  • Able to plan and use digital media effectively
  • In-depth experience and a thorough up-to-date knowledge of marketing campaign management, systems and reporting.
